Visible Light
"The
visible light spectrum shows all the colors of light. Each color has a different
wavelength, or measurement to tell what color it is. The colors of visible light are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. You can remember these by thinking ROY G BIV.
White Light
White light is all colors of visible light put together. Combining all colors of light makes white, like combining all colors of paint make black. Sunlight is white light. Sunlight is needed for a rainbow to form."
